Iggy Pop continues to be known as one of the original pioneers of the punk rock and underground rock movement of the late-60s and '70s. Thrilling audiences with The Stooges or with his own innovative solo projects, Iggy’s iconic history produced a plethora of amazing albums over the last four decades, truly creating some of the coolest music ever waxed for the classic rock era. In 1981, the Godfather of Punk delivered his high energy rock classic Party for Arista Records. Produced by Tommy Boyce (The Monkees), the 10-song set is anchored by the smokin’ club/pop hit single "Bang Bang" plus further Iggy staples like "Sincerity," "Pumpin’ For Jill" and the powerful "Houston Is Hot Tonight." It's also home to brilliant covers of Phil Phillips’ "Sea of Love" and The Outsiders’ "Time Won’t Let Me."
